Street and Racing Technology (SRT) performance engineering team is based in the new Chrysler 300 sedan 2011 and executed by a luxurious world-class model to provide more powerful and better handling of Chrysler ever.
New for 2012 is an
adaptive damping suspension (ADS) system that is tailored specifically for the Chrysler 300 SRT8 to offer a comfortable ride and supported.
The ADS system also uses a wide range of applications of road and driver inputs - such as vehicle speed, steering angle, steering speed, brake torque, throttle position and lateral and vertical accelerations - to tune automatically suspending the specific conditions when necessary.
In addition, drivers can manually choose between "Auto" and "Sport" settings that quickly change the shock damping and hardness characteristics of everyday commuting to more aggressive driving situations.
The performance SRT-tuned, fully hydraulic steering system has also been enhanced with a new heavy-duty pump and revised gearing up to make drivers feel more direct and on-center response.
The 2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8 is one-half inch lower compared with the base car and the new features of threshold SRT-exclusive side cladding painted in matching color for the body "planted" look of a sports sedan.
