After three years on the market, the Alfa Romeo Giulietta receives a facelift facing the Frankfurt Motor Show. The renewed Compact Italian premiere the new generation of JTDM diesel engine 2 and the entertainment system 'Uconnect'.

The new Alfa Romeo Giulietta will arrive in dealerships next month of October, after having entered by the Hall of Frankfurt, where it will be presented. After replacing the Alfa Romeo 147 market three years ago, the Giulietta received a slight facelift aesthetic for both the exterior and the interior. But the big news that brings the compact Italian are two: the new diesel engine , now with 150 hp, and the new entertainment system 'Uconnect'.

The Alfa Romeo Giulietta is chosen to premiere the new engine 2.0-liter JTDM diesel. The Italian brand ensures noise reduction in fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, but has not yet revealed the latter data. This new engine, with 40 percent fewer components, has a smaller turbocharger. In addition, the ECU has been reprogrammed to have more power and torque, as well as more injections per cycle (eight).

On the inside , plus new upholstery fabric Seat-in versions and Access- specific sport seats for sport variant Quadrifoglio Verde-and QV-Sport package, the most prominent feature is the new entertainment system 'Yconnect' which, depending on the version, comes with a touch screen 5 or 6.5 inches , and the following functions: Bluetooth connections for calls, listen to music and manage SMS, USB and Aux-in, with possibility to connect the iPod and iPhone.
