Hyundai Tucson 2016

The Korean brand Hyundai shows the details of one of its major developments for the Geneva Motor Show, the Tucson. And is that Hyundai has set the difficult challenge of presenting a model that will replace one of its best selling models in Spain, the ix35. Hyundai calls this change of name to enhance the overall image of the product, which henceforth will be known as Tucson in all countries where the brand is marketed.
A level of body Tucson has a very robust line (despite his 4.47 meters long), with more "muscle" that said ix35, and giving this model a form of "Holy compact Fe". Aesthetically the 2015 Tucson premieres a generous front grille marked by a slanted headlights, similar to those of the new i20 court. These headlamps have daylighting system LED type, which are located at the bottom of the bumper with the fog.

If we look at the back, the Tucson is known for offering similar details seen again in the Hyundai i20, rear large optics that "invade" both the gate and the back fin. They also emphasize the different plastic moldings in black walking the contour of the body, and give it an image more "jacket".

Inside the Tucson known for offering a simple interior, where the element that stands out most is the center console, which offers a new infotainment system with touch screen and also include a navigation system with upgradeable mapping TomTom for seven years without cost to the user. (Remember that other brands offer this option "for life"). The remaining elements seems all a very similar to those shown in the i20, with air conditioning controls in intermediate position offering independent regulation for driver and passenger court.

A remarkable detail of Tucson is the luggage capacity is that with 514 liters has a number above the segment average. Furthermore, if you need more space you can fold the rear pulling a lever backs.

A Tucson level of equipment should be mentioned several safety systems, such as autonomous braking system. Which minimizes damage in case of accident, may decrease the running or even completely stop the vehicle if the driver gets lost or hit the brakes. Warning systems are also included objects moving in reverse maneuvers, alert unintentional lane change or switch objects in blind spots.

The mechanical range offered by the new Tucson (at least in Europe) will be composed of five different blocks, having three diesel engines (1.7 CRDi 115 hp and 2.0 CRDi 136 or 184 hp) and two petrol engines (1.6 GDI 135 CV and 1.6 T-GDI 176 hp). The gearbox that these engines are mounted six-speed manual, and optionally blocks 1.6 T-GDI will have sequential gearbox dual-clutch seven-speed. While the versions of 136 and 184 hp will have automatic with torque converter and six speeds. All-wheel drive is available in combination with the more powerful engines.
