Z4 BMW Roadster 2009

The Z4 Roadster produces in its other period, with a 5.8-inch rise in length, to go along with fractional increases in width and wheelbase. BMW claims ingress, and retreat are now easier as a result of a one-inch-wider door opening.

The door openings were also increased by an inch to aid with ingress/egress, while 40-percent larger side windows improve outward vision.


The interior has also been given a complete rethink. It's far more stylish and has several new (and needed) storage cubbies. The Z4 will be available with iDrive for the first time as part of the optional navigation package.

The new top-shelf power plant is BMW's well-known (and well-loved) 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-6 with 300 bhp and 300 lb.-ft. of torque.
