The designers started with a Class 5 Ram 5500 Crew Cab and converted to a passenger compartment Mega Cab, added a box of 8 feet and increased the range between refueling stops with a fuel tank amidships.
In combination with a second frame mounted tank and a third optional bed-mounted auxiliary tank, total fuel capacity is 170 gallons.
The powertrain for the truck concept includes a six-cylinder 6.7-liter output Cummins Turbo Diesel High maximum power to 800 lb-ft of torque. The legendary Ram diesel engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission AS68RC Aisin gearbox with four-wheel drive, along with a 4.88 Dana 110 axle with two rear wheels.
On the exterior, bright black paint is accented by white gold metallic two-tone lower side moldings including flares and wide wheel in the front and rear. Up front, a bull bar extends across the width of the vehicle. For full use of the bed, the spare wheel is in the box. To help trailer line-up easier in the fifth wheel, a separate chamber back-up provides a comprehensive view of the bed.
Inside, the noise levels inside have been moistened with an improved NVH package that ensures a quiet cabin environment. The Ram long conveyor 2 +2 concept includes leather seats with a specific seat, high driver comfort. Rear passenger comfort is assured with power-adjustable footrest and a rear center console, which includes a refrigerator, cup holders and trays.
Additional features also include a cabin portable storage area and a safe. Interior items designed to maintain control of motor vehicle performance monitoring system will include a tire pressure, temperature display and rear exhaust gas temperature gauges and grow. Convenience features also include an inductive charger and DVD player with screen head for rear seat passengers to enjoy their favorite shows and entertainment.
