Mitsubishi is building a prototype based on technology and i-MiEV to participate in the legendary Pikes Peak , held on 8 July. Prototype i MiEV is based on the model 100%
electric i-MiEV.
The prototype Mitsubishi i-MiEV electric components use the same version of the series production of the i-MiEV to wheels and roads around the world. Mitsubishi facing this demanding test to improve the reliability and strength of electric cars and future plug-in hybrid models in which it is currently working and should reach the market soon.
The engineers at Mitsubishi with partner companies in the production of batteries, motors and electrical components work together to share technology and get the best possible result in the test to further improve the electrical technology of the Japanese manufacturer.
The prototype Mitsubishi i-MiEV will be driven by Hiroshi Masuoka, a legend of Dakar with two wins under his belt, the 2002 and 2003, driving a Mitsubishi Montero that have little or nothing to do with the electric concept car and will drive in extremely light Climb to the Pikes Peaks , Colorado, USA, reached an altitude of 4,300 m.
