The new
Ford Kuga, presented at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, is based on the enormous success of the current model and introduces new technologies and a more streamlined, elegant design and spacious.
Technological improvements include the introduction of a tailgate automatic hands-free that can open and close, simply by sweeping a foot under the rear bumper. Advanced Voice Control Ford, device integration and SYNC connectivity interface will be available from launch.
It will include emergency assistance, which to detect activation of the airbag or emergency fuel in the car lock, use the GPS locator on board and the paired Bluetooth device to establish an emergency call and provide GPS coordinates in the local language, for emergency response.
A wide range of driver assistance technologies, including parallel parking assistant support Active Park, and sensor-based Blind Spot Information System, which indicates a light warning on the door mirror of a potential hazard in the driver's blind spot, is also available.
The stylish Ford Kuga system AWD proactively to reconsider the conditions of 20 times faster than it takes to blink of an eye, the adjustment of the energy division AWD to give the driver the best combination of handling and traction.
The Ford Kuga is aligned with the One Ford strategy as a global vehicle on sale worldwide, including North America, where badged escape. One of the ten cars to be built on the same platform segment C as the new Ford Focus, European customers can expect the all-new Kuga end of 2012.
