Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Moab 2013

Jeep has used the Paris Motor Show 2012 to launch one of these unique adaptations of this iconic model, the Jeep Wrangler Moab, reminiscent of the region of the same name located in the U.S. state of Utah and known to be a perfect area for activities outdoor and off-road driving.

The special edition Moab is a customized version of the Jeep Wrangler Sahara. In Spain, the new release Moab will be marketed in the first quarter of 2013 in the two-door version (Wrangler) and four-door (Wrangler Unlimited) equipped with the 2.8-liter turbodiesel bright CRD with six-speed manual gearbox or five-speed automatic. The 2.8-liter CRD engine delivers a power of 200 hp (147 kW) at 3,600 rpm. and a couple of 410 Nm at 2600-3200 rpm (manual transmission) or 460 Nm at 1600-2600 rpm (automatic).

The exterior of the new special series is notable for the new bonnet with hump, the hardtop body color, tinted rear windows and wheel arches in black. The Jeep logo on the characteristic seven-slot grille is matte black alloy wheels and 17-inch gloss black are the same as riding the Rubicon version, the largest off-road capability. Finally, at the finish of the new special series highlights the lower side shields Rock Rails and fuel tank cap in black signed by Mopar.

Inside we find the black color coating and a black leather seat back design with black stitching. Standard equipment includes heated front seats and steering wheel black leather with black stitching and battleship gray details that give the interior a sporty look. The details in Grey Metal are also repeated on the handle front passenger seat, in the vents and the front door handles. Finally, include the Mopar Slush Mats with a relief pattern that mimics the tread of the tires.

The legendary off-road performance of the Wrangler range are assured thanks to the AWD system connectable Command-Trac ® NV241, with the possibility of activating 'shift-on-the fly' and gearbox, with a reduction ratio of 2.72:1. To navigate safely in the roughest terrain, the new Jeep Wrangler Moab is standard on automatic locking rear differential Trac-Lok. It is a special differential which replaces the conventional rear differential and is able to automatically distribute the available torque transmitting it to the rear axle to the wheel with traction. This gives full control in situations of low adhesion.
