The
Smart Forstars Concept has some small measures that make it more suitable for use in city, thanks to a length of 3,550 mm, a width of 1,710 mm and a height of 1,505 mm. Its wheelbase is greater than the current smart fortwo being of 2,470 mm, which means that 603 mm is greater in the concept, as the front and rear tracks of 1475 mm, 163 mm and 90 mm, respectively.
The exterior design is bold and extremely short overhangs, with the tires positioned at the ends of the body. Although it is easily recognizable as a smart model, also has new features such as the diamond design of the headlights and taillights that in the case of front illumination, outer rings has provided a large number of LEDs, topped by a "eyebrows".
In the back, the pilots open to make way for the charging socket for the high-voltage battery positioned inside the right pilot, while inside the left is a pilot.
The looks brand emblem on the grill in a larger size and with a three-dimensional shape, but instead of the classic grille opening, has an integrated video projector. The glass roof is convex, which binds with the cover glass on the load zone which also opens upwardly, while the lower rear panel on the back can also be opened electrically. The tailgate slides down in a parallel position and the cargo floor retracts 280 mm, leaving a load of 900 mm.
Shiny black embellishments extend below the side skirts, while the body has been painted in the exclusive color "Red Alubeam" in contrast to the color titanium Tridion safety cell. As far as tires are concerned, has been equipped with a Michelin 245/35 ZR 21 covering three-spoke wheels and 21-inch diameter.
The interior is designed for two occupants and the materials that are used as the white leather trimmed lining of the same color and contrasting with the seats in the same color details "Red Alubeam" of the body, as is the case with the door liner perforated leather.
