Jaguar F-Type 2014

New Jaguar F-TYPE represents what will be an icon in the future; a sports car two-seater convertible focused on performance, agility and driver involvement. It is a continuation of a sports lineage goes back more than 75 years and includes some of the most beautiful sports cars ever built.
As a true two-seat sports car, the F-TYPE is equipped with a lightweight soft top that when lowered, serves as its own tonneau cover. This not only provides a weight saving, but also helps to lower the center of gravity of the car for greater agility. The top can be raised or lowered completely in just 12 seconds at speeds up to 30 mph. Its multi-layer construction includes a coating of a material called Thinsulate unique thermal properties and excellent sound insulation.


Arrive engines coupled to an automatic transmission of eight changes Quickshift. The driver has the option of driving to automatic and use the shift lever or the paddles on the steering wheel to guide it manually. The presence and muscular sports car come in the front with slanted grille and side vents. The mesh grill grates and show a hexagonal design that gives more shape and depth, while the clean lines and elegant tail are possible, in part, by the inclusion of a spoiler who deploys at 60 mph and then low when the speed drops below 40 mph.
Different design's tailpipes distinguish V6 and V8 versions. V6 models have a dual exhaust in the center reminiscent of classic E-Type, 1961. The V8 S model offers four escapes, with dual on each side.

Jaguar, an innovator in the use of aluminum structures, built the F-TYPE around its most advanced architecture rigid and lightweight aluminum to date. It has new engines, a 3-liter V6 and 380hp and 340hp 5 liter V8 in the F-TYPE S with 495hp. All come with the new stop-start technology to improve fuel economy.
The three versions of the F-TYPE offer powerful braking systems. The 340hp has rear disc brakes 13.9 inches (354 mm) front and 12.8 inches (325 mm) with calipers painted silver. The F-TYPE S uses a high-performance system with larger discs 15 inches (380 mm) in the front.

For its part, the V8 S uses the Super-High Performance system with front disc brakes 15 inches (380 mm) and 14.8 inches (376mm) rear. All vehicles are equipped with ABS systems; brakes with Electronic Force Distribution and Emergency Brake Assist.
For the driver and passenger, as well as comfortable and stylish interior offers sports seats that adjust the body and excellent navigational equipment. Furthermore, available with two audio systems Meridian High quality with 10 or 12 loudspeakers and a power of 380 and 770 watts respectively.
