The Ferrari FF is a completely new interpretation of the Grand Sports Tourer concept. It's not just the first of four wheels Ferrari, but more importantly, comes a major break with the past by reconciling extreme performance with ease of use and versatility of a true GT and a very innovative design.
The
Ferrari FF with innovations in all, starting with the fact that it is equipped with the
first Ferrari V12 direct injection and the first V12, along with the gearbox clutch seven-speed dual. The new engine of 660 hp at 8,000 rpm shock and offers a maximum torque of 683 Nm at 6,000 rpm, 500 Nm of which are available at 1,000 rpm.
The Ferrari FF has the incredible performance of an extreme sports car also: 0-100 kmh acceleration in 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 335 kilometers per hour. It also provides excellent results in terms of efficiency to cut fuel consumption of just 15.4 liters per 100 km and CO2 emissions to 360 g / km, a reduction of 25% in the previous V12. These achievements are thanks in part to the HELE (High-Emotions low emissions) system that also incorporates Stop & Start technology.
The Ferrari FF also ensures exceptional performance in areas with very low coefficient of adhesion, thanks to own patented Ferrari 4WD four wheel drive. The pair are still delivered by the rear wheels, but the PTU (power transfer unit) ensures that all that is required is also transferred to the front wheels when necessary in the low-adhesion surfaces.
The Ferrari FF intelligently distributes torque to each wheel individually, thanks to the fact that all vehicle dynamic control (E-Diff, F1-Trac and PTU) have been integrated on a single CPU.
