The Honda Fit EV is based on the popular hatchback adjustment and is part of the company diversified portfolio of alternative fuel vehicles, including gasoline-electric hybrids, plug-in hybrid fuel cell-powered electricity and natural gas by models. American Honda will begin leasing the
Honda Fit EV customers in certain markets in California and Oregon in the summer of 2012, and expanded to six East Coast markets in early 2013.
