The ultimate sports Ingolstadt, the
Audi R8 , is updated by 2013 to bring important innovations, both aesthetically and technically. Most important, a version V10 Plus and the arrival of the expected range change S-Tronic 7-speed.
To the naked eye can already see some changes as the bumper with redesigned air intakes (optionally can incorporate a plastic splitter carbon fiber reinforced), headlamps and rear LED technology new invoice and slight changes in the single-frame grille or on the side blades.
The ventilation openings near the rear window, for example, are finished in the case of aluminum and black matte V8 to V10 and V10 variants Plus. In addition, the engine compartment can be illuminated by LEDs, which already incorporates the V10 Plus series, like the CFRP diffuser, also standard on this top version.
In all versions of the Audi R8 exhaust outlets are located far to the sides and rounded and generously sized, so there is no difference in this respect between the V8 and V10. In the case of the outputs V10 Plus are finished in black.
The entire range receives larger wheels. For the V8 are 18 inch with tires 235/40 and 285/35 (front and rear, respectively) while the V10 are 19 inches and tires in size 235/35 and 295/30. Audi will also offer eleven body colors (solid, metallic and pearl effect) and a dull one specific for V10 Plus. The side blades, meanwhile, can be chosen in eight different shades and hood, in the case of the Spyder, can be black, red or brown.
