The
Honda Pilot 2012, which made its debut at the Detroit Auto Show in January 2009, continued to improve details that make it more comfortable and intuitive than some competing models.
The 2012 Honda Pilot is available in three versions - LX, EX / EX-L and Touring-equipped with the same 3.5-liter V6 engine that develops 250 horsepower and carries up to eight passengers.
Honda claims that the model has an aesthetic similar to that of an SUV on a freestanding frame. And we have to say we agree. The comfort of the cabin reminds us more of a luxury car than for a SUV.
The wattage kind that yields of gasoline remains one of the attractions of the Honda Pilot, with the latest generation of Variable Cylinder Management (VCM), which reduces fuel consumption by operating the engine with four or three cylinders.
The AWD system also has automatic adjustment torque Variable Torque Management ® (VTM-4 ®) that adjusts the power sent to each wheel depending on road conditions, which not only allows travel on almost any way, but also minimizes fuel consumption compared to conventional traction on all four wheels.
