Alfa Romeo 4C Spider Concept 2014

The Alfa Romeo Spider 4C is a prototype that shows how it will look the convertible version Romeno Alfa 4C Coupe . It has the same engine turbocharged gasoline four-cylinder, 1.7 liter, 241 hp version of the closed and is associated with the same automatic transmission dual clutch six-speed. The production version will go into production in early 2015.
None of the photographs published by Alfa Romeo is a roof and in the press release there is no mention of this. Alfa Romeo does not give the exact dimensions of Spider 4C, but says it is less than four meters in length and wheelbase is less than 2.4 meters (4C Coupe measures 3.99 meters in length and has a wheelbase of 2.38 meters). According to the manufacturer, the aerodynamics of the body can generate the same level of downward load the 4C Coupe. The unladen mass is less than 1000 kg (the closed version is, with all fluids necessary for operation, 995 kilograms).
