Skoda VisionS Concept 2016

The future Skoda SUV stands out for the huge interior space for up to 6 passengers (in 3 rows of seats) with a length of 4.7 meters, 1.91 m wide and 1.68 m high. With these dimensions, the Skoda Vision S is positioned within the category of the D segment.

Just as the Skoda Vision C anticipated the lines of new Skoda Superb, the Vision S follows this line o to design, with traces where elegance goes hand in hand with certain nuances that suggest dynamism, such as plastic moldings hood that direct our gaze to the brand logo, headlights with details inspired by Bohemian crystal, etc.

Visions stands for clean lines, with little angles with a hood that descends slightly to the logo looks now integrated into the body and, like the vertical pointers grid is manufactured in glass. All details that highlight even more thanks to the choice of paint color 'Green Island'.

Inside, in addition to its space, highlight the "simply clever" solutions that characterize the models of Skoda and a design that also follows the guidelines of the Superb, elegant shapes and good adjustments, although somewhat austere aspect.

Based on the MQB platform Volkswagen, Skoda Vision S uses a plug -in hybrid system for propulsion consisting of a gasoline engine and electric motor . The internal combustion engine is a petrol 1.4 TSI 156 hp and 250 Nm of torque. On the front axle, and working with the gasoline, we found an electric motor that provides 40 kW of continuous power and a torque of 220 Nm, and is integrated into the DSG six-speed gearbox that distributes power to the wheels front. On the rear axle the other electric motor, which has up to 85 kW of power and 270 Nm is located. The operation of front and rear axle is independent, so the prototype features intelligent four wheel that requires no mechanical coupling traction.
