The 2010 Audi A5 Cabriolet is one of the few European cars that has as much impact as a convertible as it does as a coupe. Both the A5 and S5 convertibles will feature Audi Drive Select, which electronically alters the engine, transmission, steering, suspension and stability control calibration to suit your preference.

There's also a dimension of practicality to the fabric top, since it steals only 2.1 cubic feet away from the A5 cabriolet's 13.4 cubic feet of cargo capacity when it's retracted into the trunk. A typical hardtop offers 3.5 cubic feet fewer capacities when the top is retracted, Audi claims.

At present, there are  four show increase packages available: with ABT POWER, which is the optimisation of the electronic engine management system, the 2.0 TFSI receives a sporty 275HP instead of the serial 180 HP or 211HP.

The ABT POWER S technology is also available to the V6 diesel with the largest engine capacity, which as well employs an ABT turbo charger. 228kW then provide superior handling in all situations, and with 610Nm torque, it’s full steam ahead. Logically, this power also has to be restrained.
