After presenting the Elise 250 Special Edition and Evora 400 Hethel Edition in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the factory in Hethel,United Kingdom, Lotus has announced the launch of the Exige 350 Special Edition, the third model commissioned to commemorate the birthday British plant. The main difference from the 250 Special Edition is found in section weight, because the power is exactly the same-345 hp. Thus the 350 Special Edition trims the previous 26 kg, which means that for the scale in such only 1,099 kg.
To achieve this reduction, Lotus has opted for a gearbox to view its interior, lighter brakes, seats made of carbon fiber, a lithium-ion battery and forged wheels as most important elements in this regard. All this coupled with a more careful aerodynamics helps improve performance with respect to 250 Special Edition.
