Honda Fit EV 2013

The Honda Fit EV is based on the popular hatchback adjustment and is part of the company diversified portfolio of alternative fuel vehicles, including gasoline-electric hybrids, plug-in hybrid fuel cell-powered electricity and natural gas by models. American Honda will begin leasing the Honda Fit EV customers in certain markets in California and Oregon in the summer of 2012, and expanded to six East Coast markets in early 2013.

The Fit EV will be powered by a 20 kWh lithium-ion battery and a 92 kilowatt electric motor coaxial. The high density of electric motor, derived from the engine used in the FCX Clarity fuel cell vehicle electric delivers excellent performance and power while remaining quiet at high speeds.
