These changes affect both body variants, the sedan and family. Who wants a 2017 Octavia must purchase in late 2016 and will dispose of it from February 2017.
The design has changed little. Are new bumpers, interior design of the pilots and above all, the headlights, which are now divided into two parts and may have ledes for all lighting functions.
There are new systems of driving aids: the detection of pedestrians, of vehicles in the blind spot mirrors and of circulating in the back when reversing out of a parking behind. There is also an assistant to maneuver a trailer. Other heating elements are added to the steering wheel, folding tables in the front seatbacks, keys that store user preferences, new drink holders and, in the Octavia Combi, a removable flashlight in the trunk.
Sound systems and navigation have a new screen that says Škoda responsive to finger pressure. In the most advanced system (called Columbus) has 9.2 inch screen (which is more than usual) and the possibility of installing a SIM card to provide internet access.
The range of engines will only know that from 84 to 184 hp. And the petrol 1.8 TFSI and 2.0 TDI Diesel may be combined with an AWD system.
The Octavia 2013 is a model that stands out for the breadth of the compartment and the boot. It is also comfortable and pleasant to drive.
